Know Love

Your worst fear has come true, and now you are faced with the one thing you thought you could never handle. How do you stand when it seems just too hard to make it through? What do you do when your life seems to be on the verge of destruction?

Well, for one, you have to do what the opposite of your instinct says: don’t fight, just surrender. It’s our human nature to fight, but we need to stop fighting for our own ways and our own survival. Give up your will to God. It sounds illogical and impossible, but it’s actually neither of those. The place that you are in now –faced with challenging circumstances– this is just the place that you need to be. Nothing happens to you unless God allows it to happen. And if God did allow it, then you can be sure it is the very best thing that could have happened to you. But your heart can only get that fact when you completely surrender to God. You can only win when you submit to Him.

Face this trail without fear and refuse to let it lead you to any sin. Give your heart, soul and mind to the One who loves you and will never leave you. Trails and temptations can be good when you don’t fear it, but when you give it to God –then it will be used to make you stronger. Stop asking “why me” and start saying “yes God, your will be done and not mine. I know this trial is just temporary but life with you is eternal.”

2 Corinthians 4:16-17 “That is why we are not discouraged. Though outwardly we are wearing out, inwardly we are renewed day by day. Our suffering is light and temporary and is producing for us an eternal glory that is greater than anything we can imagine.”
